Three teams are still perfect after the first four days of PARI Universe, the second tier-1 Dota 2 tournament of the 2026-27 season, tier-1 being the top level of professional events. By the results Dot Esports listed through Sunday, October 25, Team Yandex leads Group A at 3-0, while PARIVISION and Team Spirit are both 3-0 in Group B. At the other end of the table, 1w Team has played all four of its matches and has not won a single map.

The tournament is organized by FISSURE, carries a US$250,000 prize pool and runs from October 22 to November 1. Ten teams are split into two groups of five. The group stage ends on Monday, October 26, and the playoffs run from October 28 to the grand final on November 1, according to Dot Esports.

## A second tier-1 event for the new season

Dot Esports calls PARI Universe the second tier-1 tournament of the 2026-27 Dota 2 season. The page names Team Yandex, winner of BLAST Slam 8 and PGL Wallachia Season 9, as one of the leading contenders, together with The International 2026 winner Team Spirit and runner-up PARIVISION. BetBoom Team and Team Liquid are also in the field.

The money on offer has a recent precedent. When Aurora Gaming won FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 in early 2026, the event paid out from a US$250,000 pool as well, and the winner took US$125,000, according to a report published by an esports news site on February 2, 2026. PARI Universe keeps the same total and the same first prize. The field is different: the roster season that followed The International reshaped several of the teams that are now playing.

GosuGamers kept a running log of those changes, and several entries touch teams in this event. OG brought back Topson and added SSS and OneJey on September 23. Team Yandex signed ATF on September 17. GamerLegion signed Yuma on September 29. Team Liquid signed Malr1ne on October 15. Several of these lineups are therefore only a few weeks old. OG's roster entered for the event, as listed by Dot Esports, includes Topson, SSS and OneJey.

## Ten teams: nine invitations and one qualifier

Dot Esports marks nine of the ten teams as invited: 1w Team, Astra Invicta, BetBoom Team, GamerLegion, OG, PARIVISION, Team Liquid, Team Spirit and Team Yandex. The tenth, LEGION, is marked as a qualifier.

An early announcement from the esports platform Winio, published on October 2, described an earlier stage of the invitations. It listed six direct invitations (PARIVISION, OG, Team Liquid, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit and 1win Team), one place to be decided in a closed qualifier played from October 5 to October 8, and three further invited teams still to be named. Dot Esports now lists nine invited teams, three more than the six named in that early announcement. The organization appears as 1win Team in the Winio announcement and as 1w Team on the Dot Esports page and in the Field Level Media reports.

Group A holds Team Yandex, OG, GamerLegion, Team Liquid and 1w Team. Group B holds PARIVISION, Team Spirit, Astra Invicta, LEGION and BetBoom Team. Field Level Media printed the same split.

## How the format works and where the groups stand

The group stage is a single round-robin, meaning every team plays every other team in its group once. With five teams in a group, that is four matches for each team and ten matches per group. Every match is a best-of-three: the first side to win two maps takes the series. The top four teams in each group advance, and the team in last place is eliminated, according to Field Level Media.

The playoffs bring eight teams into a double-elimination bracket. In that format a team has to lose twice to be knocked out, so a first defeat sends it to a lower bracket instead of home. Playoff series are best-of-three, except the grand final, which Field Level Media reported is a best-of-five played on November 1. The group stage is spread over five days, October 22 to 26, so each team has one day without a match.

Four days of group play produced the records below. They are taken from the day-by-day scores on the Dot Esports page.

## Group A: Yandex ahead, 1w Team out

Team Yandex opened the event on October 22 with a 2-0 win over GamerLegion. Field Level Media said the two maps lasted about 70 minutes in total. Yandex followed that with a 2-0 win over OG on October 24 and another 2-0 over 1w Team on October 25, which put them on 3-0 without dropping a map.

OG and GamerLegion both stand at 2-1. OG beat 1w Team 2-0 on October 23 and then beat Team Liquid 2-1 on October 25, the only three-map series of Group A so far. According to Field Level Media, the two maps of OG's win over 1w Team lasted 38 and 49 minutes, while GamerLegion needed 52 and 71 minutes to beat Team Liquid on the same day. GamerLegion's other results are a 2-0 win over 1w Team on October 24 and the opening loss to Yandex.

Team Liquid beat 1w Team 2-0 on opening day and then lost to GamerLegion and OG. Its one win is enough to keep it clear of 1w Team, which has lost every series. Because 1w Team has now played all four of its matches without a win, it finishes last in Group A, and under the format that means it is out. That also settles the arithmetic for the other four: Team Yandex, OG, GamerLegion and Team Liquid are the four Group A teams that advance, whatever happens in the final round.

Two Group A matches remained on October 26: OG against GamerLegion, and Team Yandex against Team Liquid.

## Group B: two unbeaten teams and a race to avoid last place

PARIVISION and Team Spirit are 3-0 and have not lost a map. PARIVISION beat Astra Invicta, LEGION and BetBoom Team, each 2-0. Team Spirit beat LEGION, BetBoom Team and Astra Invicta, also each 2-0. On the last day of the group stage the two meet, according to the Dot Esports schedule, which lists Team Spirit against PARIVISION on October 26.

The more tangled part of the group sits below them. Astra Invicta has finished its four matches at 1-3 after beating BetBoom Team 2-0 on October 23 and losing the other three. LEGION is 1-2 after beating Astra Invicta 2-1 on October 24 and has one match left. BetBoom Team is 0-3 and also has one match left, against LEGION.

> Six of the eight playoff places were already settled by arithmetic after four days of play.

On the records alone, that last match is the one that matters for last place. If LEGION wins it, LEGION finishes 2-2, Astra Invicta stays at 1-3 and BetBoom Team ends at 0-4, last in the group and out. If BetBoom Team wins, BetBoom Team, Astra Invicta and LEGION all finish level at 1-3.

## The US$250,000 prize pool

The prize pool is shared between players and clubs for the top four places, according to Dot Esports. The champion receives US$125,000 in total, US$80,000 of it for the players and US$45,000 for the club. Field Level Media reported the same champion split.

<tr><td>Champion</td><td class="yes">US$125,000</td><td>US$80,000</td><td>US$45,000</td></tr>
<tr><td>Second</td><td>US$50,000</td><td>US$32,000</td><td>US$18,000</td></tr>
<tr><td>Third</td><td>US$30,000</td><td>US$20,000</td><td>US$10,000</td></tr>
<tr><td>Fourth</td><td>US$15,000</td><td>US$10,000</td><td>US$5,000</td></tr>
</tbody>
</table></div>
<p class="src">Dot Esports PARI Universe page, updated October 25. The champion total and split match Field Level Media's report of October 23.</p></figure>

The lower places are where the two outlets differ. Dot Esports lists US$10,000 for fifth to sixth place and US$5,500 for seventh to eighth, all of it paid to the players, without saying whether each amount is per team. Field Level Media lists US$10,000 for each of fifth and sixth place and US$5,000 for each of seventh and eighth, also paid entirely to the players. The totals show why this matters: the top four places add up to US$220,000, two US$10,000 prizes make US$240,000, and two US$5,000 prizes bring the total to exactly US$250,000. Read per team, as Field Level Media presents its own lower places, two US$5,500 prizes would bring the total to US$251,000, one thousand more than the announced pool. Ninth and tenth place receive no prize money in either report.

The same report on Episode 8 listed US$60,000 for second place, US$30,000 for third, US$15,000 for fourth and US$10,000 for each of fifth and sixth. PARI Universe pays US$50,000 for second and the same amounts from third to sixth, and it adds prizes for seventh and eighth, which the Episode 8 report did not list.

## What comes next

The last group-stage day, October 26, decides the Group A order and Group B's last place, and it sets the bracket for the playoffs that start on Wednesday, October 28. The playoffs are double-elimination and run until the best-of-five grand final on Sunday, November 1. Matches are streamed on FISSURE's official English-language channel on Kick, according to Dot Esports.

The wider calendar stays full. A tournament calendar published by an esports news site on October 22 and updated on October 23 lists BLAST Slam 9 from November 20 to 29 with a US$750,000 prize pool, which puts another tier-1 event less than three weeks after the PARI Universe final. The same calendar lists 1win Essence III in the second tier from November 7 to 18.
